Last weekend in September – Images in the service of nature in Cauterets
Every autumn, Cauterets comes alive with the Festival Pyrénéen de l’Image Nature, a not-to-be-missed event for lovers of nature, photography and nature films. Organised by the commune of Cauterets, the Pyrenees National Park, the French Office for Biodiversity and Pyrénées Magazine, the festival highlights biodiversity in the Pyrenees and around the world through photo exhibitions, film screenings, conferences, nature outings and workshops.
Its ambition is to arouse curiosity, raise awareness and bring the public closer to images, so that we can better understand the richness and fragility of our environment.
