Access and special conditions

Access to the Pont d’Espagne is via the D920, which may be closed from time to time for safety reasons (snow, maintenance).


In the event of closure, the shuttle adapts its timetable or suspends the service.

Other access options:

  • On foot along the Chemin des Cascades, a 1? hour walk from La Raillère to the Pont d’Espagne (only open in summer)
  • By car: from the village of Cauterets. Access to the Puntas car park (€8 charge at the entrance to the Pont d’Espagne site).
