The town of Cauterets offers a multitude of activities plus all skiing. It stands out for its wide variety of accommodation that has the « Label Cauterets » quality seal and the many bars and restaurants that you can find both in the town and at the station. You can take the opportunity to relax in « Les Bains du Rocher », the best thermal SPA in the French Pyrenees and disconnect from the routine.
WHICH SKI AREA TO CHOOSE?
Cirque de Lys
This ski area can be reached in just 12 minutes via the cable cars that depart from the town of Cauterets. Upon arrival you will find an area for beginners, a toboggan area and several restaurant areas such as the Restaurant du Lys, accessible at the foot of the slopes.
It is the perfect place to start skiing, enjoy the different activities or to relax on the sun loungers on the terrace.
Cirque du Lys also offers different tracks to suit your level. You can go down blue, red and black slopes and enjoy a panoramic view of the surrounding peaks (Vignemale, Pic du Midi, etc.).
Pont d’espana
The Pont d’Espagne ski resort is located 7 km from the town of Cauterets and is accessible by both coach and bus.
There you will find the perfect slopes to start alpine skiing.
It is the ideal place to start skiing in the middle of nature and discover what it feels like to descend among the fir trees.
It also has a toboggan run and a restaurant area near the spring area.

The initiation package includes access to the cable cars of Lys, the town of Cauterets and the Big Foot carpet, located in the area.
It will allow you to take your first steps on skis in an area adapted for it.
This package is only available at the box office or through the Flex card.

This package includes access to the Lys cable cars that reach the town of Cauterets and the Yeti Park area, which has 3 carpets.
This sector is dedicated exclusively to newcomers and is perfect for gaining confidence and trying your skimming level before accessing the slopes restaurant.
